MacResource Computers is an Aggie Owned & Operated Apple Authorized Retailer & Service provider for the Bryan-College Station area. Our footprint however goes well beyond the Brazos Valley with 24 years years of success and quality customer service. We have customers in surrounding cities and loyal customers from out of state and oversees. Since its humble start in 1994, MacResource has grown from a two-person operation in a garage apartment in Bryan to two full-fledged Apple Authorized stores serving the Brazos Valley. Sales support has several responsibilities including but not limited to the following: assisting sales associates in showroom; shipping and receiving from stores; performing various duties at the warehouse; generating qualified sales leads by increasing customer base via answering phone calls and emails; effectively communicating the correct solution/product for customer needs and explaining the benefits of that solution/product; recording customer calls; logging data daily to maintain high customer service levels; performing other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
The role of technician encompasses a variety of tasks to be completed in a timely and efficient manner. Technicians are required to operate in a safe manner, while setting priorities and maintaining production timelines and requirements. Technicians’ responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: repairing computers; learning new skills for repairing other products; understanding and implementing the proper procedures for regular operation and maintenance of technicians’ area; receiving instructions and working with other technicians to troubleshoot issues to ensure proper product repair.
• High school level or 2-year associates preferable
• Computer Experience/Certifications is a plus
• 1-2 years in a sales and/or service
• 1-2 years in the customer service industry
• Strong communication skills to confidently explain information and converse with customers
• Organizational skills to effectively process all paperwork/products
• Ability to multi-task and provide attention to detail
• Flexibility to address any non-related tasks that may present themselves throughout the day
• Self-confidence to take the initiative to approach potential customers
• Success-motivated to work with MacResource to set and surpass realistic goals
• Office environment and/or warehouse setting
• Moderate noise level
• Must be able to lift avg. 50lbs
• Casual dress code
• Part time hours considered
• 8-hour shift
• 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Monday to Friday
• Possible Saturday hrs.
