Safeware Protection Plan is a hardware warranty including accidental damage protection to cover drops, liquid damage, and more – up to the cost of the machine. With no expensive deductibles or delays in repairs, it’s the reassurance you need when investing in a new computer. We offer the plans with almost any of your technology. Did you accidentally purchase your device elsewhere? That’s okay! Be sure to ask a sales associate about these great protection plans!
We are an Authorized Safeware Provider at our location at 501 Graham Rd in College Station. Be sure to bring your computer into our store for any accidental damage or hardware failures under your Safeware Protection Plan. We can also check them in at our on campus location in the MSC.
The plans include hardware failures and accidental damage protection from:
Flood, fire and vandalism
Accidental drops, falls, and collisions
Liquid Spills or Damage
How are claims handled?
In the event you have a claim, we have a service location IN TOWN! Drop your computer or device off at our campus location in the MSC or you may go directly to our service location at 501 Graham Rd in College Station. We will repair your unit under your Safeware Protection Plan. You can also send the unit directly to Safeware. Call the Safeware Solution Center at 800-800-1492. (Please note that proof of purchase for your device is required when submitting any claim.) Once your claim has been validated, we will instruct you on how to move forward with service.
Depending on the type of device, the claim will be handled one of the following ways:
Carry-In: You can take your device to our local Authorized Service Provider. Covered Products will be taken care of for you hassel free! There are no deductibles or hoops to jump through. Just make sure you have registered your Safeware and leave the rest up to us.
Depot: You can choose to ship your device directly to Safeware. First call the Safeware Solution Center at 800-800-1492. Then you will be provided with a shipping label for you to ship your failed product to the nearest repair facility. You are responsible for all costs of postage, insurance, packaging and shipping. Your product must be properly protected with bubble wrap or other protective materials. Safeware is not responsible for and have no liability for product damaged in shipping. Your repaired product will be mailed back to you at no charge.
Express: You can choose to express ship your device directly to Safeware. First call the Safeware Solution Center at 800-800-1492. Then you will be mailed a shipping box and return label with instructions for you to ship your failed product to a designated repair facility. Return postage of your repaired product is covered by the plan.
Replacement: In the case the unit must be replaced, call the Safeware Solution Center at 800-800-1492. You will be shipped a replacement product once claim has been validated. You will be require to ship the defective device back to the plan administrator. Failing to ship the defective product may result in you being charged for the replacement device.
